Morfydd Clark Birthday, age, parents, siblings, family
Morfydd Clark is a 33-year-old Welsh actor, born on 17th March 1989, in Sweden. Her parents moved from Sweden to Pernath, Welsh when she was very young. Miss Clark likes to keep her personal life and family separate from the spotlight, so there is no mention of her parents, siblings, or her relationship status anywhere. Although, she does describe her father as a Northern Irish Glaswegian who is a software engineer and her mother is from Northern Wales, a pediatrician by profession.
We will update here once we get to know more about them.

Morfydd Clark Education and Career
Morfydd attended a Welsh-language school with her sister when she was seven years old, and as a result, she speaks both English and Welsh with ease. But she had to drop out of school at the age of 16 as she was quite depressed. Morfydd was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD at that age which made it difficult for her to focus on her studies or even to sit still in a particular place.
She says –
I very much didn’t enjoy school and was depressed and miserable as a teenager. After my GCSEs, I just couldn’t go back. I tried for a term but didn’t do any work and my mum said: ‘Why don’t you just drop out? There’s no point in being there if you’re going to be like this.
Morfydd spent almost a month in her bedroom doing nothing when her mother persuaded her to try getting into the acting profession, as she was interested in it from a very young. At the age of 13, Morfydd had barely done some acting when she rolled around in high heels as a “hilariously sexualized” Mrs. Dai Bread Two, in a production at her South Wales Secondary School of Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood.

After that persuasion from her mother, Morfydd Clark started to give auditions in the National Youth Theatres of both Wales and Great Britain. She also auditioned for the Welsh National Youth Opera because she also liked singing. And to her delight, she got selected for all of them.
She says –
I got into all of them, which was really not what I expected at all and that was when my life started to become really happy.
Joining the youth theatre groups gave her new confidence to give education another shot by joining a new school, which was Kings Monkton, in Cardiff. This was a special school with the majority of students going through ADHD or Autism.
Clark said-
It was a very kind school with lots of people with ADHD or autism. They didn’t care what grades I got. I would sit in the art room and not do any art. I realize now that my art teacher was an unpaid therapist.

Later she got a place in a three-year acting course at the Drama Centre London, but she dropped out in her final term in 2013 as she was selected to play the title role with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru – the Welsh-language national theatre of Wales – in Blodeuwedd, in which she played a beautiful, wild woman created from flowers in a story from the Welsh national epic, The Mabinogion.
After that, Morfydd Clark and her acting career didn’t look back as she started appearing in numerous movies and TV shows in 2014. Morfydd appeared in a Channel 4 TV series named New Worlds and in a British drama television film named A Poet in New York. In the same year, Clark starred in a 2014 historical romantic drama film Madame Bovary and a British mystery drama film written and directed by Carol Morley, The Falling.
Morfydd became a rising star in the film industry after she gave her career’s best work in the critically acclaimed A24’s psychological-horror film Saint Maud. After that, her popularity helped her in signing multiple web series like His Dark Materials, Dracula, and the film Eternal Beauty.
Today, on 2nd September 2022, Mofrydd Clark’s life-changing role as Elf Galadriel in The Rings of Power has been released. This series will dive deep into the life of Lady Galadriel and how she became The Lady of the Light.
