About Wednesday Addams Teaser
The official Wednesday full-length teaser from Netflix was released on Wednesday, August 17, and Jenna’s transformation into Wednesday is astounding. We really hope that a full-length trailer is on the way.
The teaser opens with a voiceover saying, “Miss Addams, you certainly had a very interesting educational journey,” followed by the phrase “Eight schools in five years.” The reason Wednesday can’t seem to stay at one school for very long is soon made clear when set to menacing music, our pigtailed antiheroine releases two enormous bags full of piranhas into the school pool to attack the bullies in the water polo team, as she says, “the only person who gets to torture my brother is me”.
Her most recent expulsion from this school sets the series in motion and now she is sent to the Nevermore Academy, where her parents first met.
“Finally you will be among peers who understand you. Maybe you’ll even make some friends,” adds Morticia, Wednesday’s mom. Then, in a series of brief scenes, we see gothic school uniforms, a school dance, blood, graveyards, spiders, explosions, and frightening forests.
Wednesday smirks and says, “Little did I know I was stepping into a nightmare full of mystery, mayhem, and murder, “I think I’m going to love it here.” The teaser ends with Wednesday snapping the iconic Addams Family double-snap from the family’s theme music.
